The Accreditation Council creates the Appeals Commission to consider complaints, comments and disagreement of educational organizations with the experts or the conclusion of the Expert Commission of the Agency “Sapattuu Bilim”.
In case of disagreement with the decision of the expert or expert commission, on refusal to accredit the educational organization and programs, the educational organization must submit an application in writing to the Director of the Agency “Sapattuu Bilim”.
The application must be submitted prior to consideration of the accreditation of the educational organization and programs at the meeting of the Accreditation Council not later than two weeks before its planned date.
The application of the educational organization must include an indication of the reasons why the negative decision of the Accreditation Council will, in the opinion of the educational organization, be unlawful due to non-compliance with the “Standards and Criteria for Accreditation of Educational Organizations and Programs” of the Sapattuu Bilim Agency.
The Director of the Agency "Sapattuu Bilim" proposes, and the Chairman of the Accreditation Council approves the composition of the Appeals Commission. The Appeals Commission in making its recommendations considers only written materials submitted by the educational organization and the conclusion of the expert and expert commission for the accreditation of the educational organization and programs.
The meeting of the Appeals Commission is held “behind closed doors”. Representatives of the educational organization and the Agency “Sapattuu bilim” may not be present at the meeting of the Appeals Commission. The decision made by the Appeals Commission is transmitted to the Accreditation Council before the meeting of the Accreditation Council, where the issue of accreditation of the educational organization and programs will be considered.
The decision of the Accreditation Council is the final decision of the Sapattuu Bilim Agency.
